Another exciting first for me tonight! Hot and exhausting two hour hunt was worth it with one clean plug... out comes a really red nickel sized coin. Was thinking I could have my second buffalo, but got out the foo foo spray and I make out the V. I was so excited and it's a beautiful coin! 1907 V Nickel.

I also pulled out a mangled bent up old fork. Some nice color and age to it.

Congratulations of the v's, I've found 3 in the past week, a 1883 w/cents, 1901 and 1883 no cents. Must be a V nickel bug going around.
