Coin roll hunting tonight produced a no date buffalo, 25 pre 1959 Jefferson nickels...the oldest, a 1939, and last but not least a 1904 V which I have been hoping for popped out of the bunch. No war nickels tonight or a dated buffalo but pretty happy... didn't think I'd see a V nickel for a long time. UPDATE:. Just finished my last six rolls and pulled a 1938d mint....one I didn't have and ended up getting a 44P war nickel after all on the last two rolls...almost had a second one...it was a 1942...but no mint mark...

Never can tell what you will find and where. My 1st and only V nickel was found two inch deep in the sand at Ludington City Park next to the sidewalk. As much as that place is detected I don't know how it lasted there. Some good finds there..
What a great surprise that must have been...I really want to get out and detect...
