Well, mother nature has seen fit to give me just a few more days this season to detect before she freezes me out for good, and I took advantage. Found my first V nickel, about 8" down. It's worn, rough...but dated still: 1904.

Looks better than the 1911 nickel I found a few years ago. I don't remember if I had ever posted it on Tnet.
 
Not bad for a dirt find! congrats on checking one from the list.
 
Most i find look like that, but still a good find soak it in olive oil it will give it better detail....:icon_thumright:

That's actualy pretty good for a liberty head V cent piece " sorry I couldn't resist " but once you start diggin those mid high range signals your gonna find a bunch
