Went out today with a friend. We hit a farm field that had been used for a parking lot for the 4th of July carnival and firework display this weekend in our town, basically we were looking for clad or jewelry anything that might have recently been dropped. Imagine my surprise when this popped out of my hole.

Awesome find. I can imagine that haha. Was it deep. Think it coulda been someone's good luck coin? Maybe recent drop? It's in real nice shape

Pretty coin! Nice job

Nice early beautiful Walker there! Congrats ! Hope the spot I'm planning on hitting tomorrow has a surprise to.

That's a beauty!, good Job on the early walker!!

Ooh! That's a nice walker. I think any date with the 1920's looks the coolest on those coins. Maybe because that's the decade I don't have a walker. Anyway, congrats on the big honkin' silver! It must have been an amazing surprise if you were clad hunting...

That is one of the finest walkers I have seen posted for quite some time .And a rather low mintage and early one too. It did not see much circulation time.

Congratulations on the large silver find, lots of detail still remains.

Congrats on pulling that pretty lady. :occasion14: She has eluded my coil.

Beautiful coin and detail. Great save

Beautiful coin! Congrats on that nice early Walker.

Nice surprise, they are popping out of the ground everywhere. Congrats on your first, it is a very nice one and a cool date/mint!

I hear they are buying coffee and paying tolls with them in Maine?

Great job. Always like to see those pre-1930 walkers in decent condition.

It was about 3 1/2 inches deep, and I too thought that it could be a more recent drop, someone's good luck charm, but I think it would show more wear if that were the case.
