I am also interested in the answer to this. . . Any help?

Depending on type of soil, moisture content of the soil, decay, etc etc etc.... All kinds of variables effect where coins hit.

Readings can and do change on ALL machines. Just not the F2. Wheaties can and do hit all over the place on all the machines I use. Just something we have to deal with.

If you get a good solid hit that doesn't vary a whole lot and sounds good, ya better dig it. Ya just NEVER know what you might find! :icon_thumright:

There is no way to calibrate the numbers on the screen by the operater. Besides if you could do it yourself, a coins depth, angle in the ground, minerals, etc. would all change the numbers on each coin. Best to just use it with duct tape over the screen and learn to listen to the sounds for awhile.

You would get more responses to this post if you didn't have it in the wrong place. This is the J.W. Fisher (Pulse) forum. :coffee2:
