Hi

I'm using my GTI 2500 for film my relics hunting. I like to share with all you my configuration and mounting camera on the shaft. The camcorder: Countour. I found a pulley(Polea in Spanish). I don't know if that pulley is old. I detect using the 4-1/2" sniper coil in all metal mode, manual ground balanced, and high sensitivity. Believe me, it goes deep (12" easily). :icon_thumleft:

Nice setup. Does it make it feel reel heavy or throw balance off a lot. Prob not much with sniper but bigger coil might I would think. Good luck.

I feel light and throw balance because the 4" sniper coil. Now, when I use the 9-1/2" coil, I feel reel heavy. I never thought I could go deeper with the sniper coil, of course, in all metal and high sensit.

Thanks for your feedback

Nice nice work on the video. I miss my GTI.....

No, didn't lose it. I had to sell it and get a lighter machine. It was a bit to heavy for me. It was a fantastic detector though.
