And Now I Am . She was playing it all the time for about a week , she would not let me see what it was . I finally said let me try , she said no . She ended up telling me the name of the game - JUNE'S JOURNEY -

I downloaded it on my Phone - now I'm HOOKED . It has lots of antiques that you have to find , wile a murder is being solved . WATCH OUT , or it will get you too .
.

It could be worse there buddy. Some things you can get hooked on can't be set down and walked away from.

Just don't start playing World of Warcraft. My addiction to THAT took six years away from me.:laughing7:

Turn the WiFi off and watch cold turkey in action

Ahhh, good old video games. The most addictive one I've ever seen was Runescape. Been playing it on and off for the past 12 years or so.

Nothing a 2x4 to the temple won’t solve

Where can i get the latest donkey kong video?

I was on the star wars Angy birds kick last year. Once I gave it up I decided a hiatus from the games for awhile. Fun way to burn some time tho!

And don't play "everquest". My daughter and son in law have been playing it for SIXTEEN YEARS.

What kind of weirdo am I?
An IPhone for seven years now, I've never played a game?

I don't get these games. My brain isn't wired for them, too slow, learning curve too long. The last game that got my pulse rate up and blood pressure to spike was Space Invaders. That makes me a relic, I think. Evidence of past life. Fossil, maybe. My son-in-law writes code for video game makers. He's an Alien. Definitely from a different planet.

only game I play is...swingin tessie...ONLY game for me...

My wife was getting addicted to Candy Crush. I eased her out of it. Thankfully she is cured.

i tried to play once and i thought my head was gonna....EXPLODE...

Duke Nukem 3D...

My buddy's house in 90's ... At its height he had FIVE - SIX ... BNC networked computers from room to room of his house... one in each separate room of house.

I have never smoked crack... but this HAD to be close.

No one who entered would re-emerge until they had to.

Would emerge with sun blinding eyes.

Arrggg... I just NOW had an urge to play that damn thing.

Only time I can say... A game had me hooked.

You're not alone. I have zero interest in playing any kind of video games. I've been addicted to antique bottles for 44 years now, but even that has easily controlled by limited finances and more importantly, putting Christ before bottles (or anything else). What's wild is that I know a guy who inherited 10M+ which resulted in a huge, incredible collection, depression and in debt now over 250K in a home equity LOC. If that doesn't show that 1. addiction/temptation/the Devil comes in many forms, and 2. material possessions bring fleeting pleasure, not happiness, then I don't know what would.

Not me. I quit school because they wanted to have a recess.:laughing7: No games here.

I have a pinball problem.

I can't find a pinball machine anywhere anymore.

People can get addicted to anything. The thing about self destructive behavior is that nobody can make an addict stop the cycle of addiction. It is a decision the addict has to make for themselves. It is easier to stop the cycle if one can see the way their actions affect those around them. If playing video games is hurting the people you love, the sound decision is to stop playing video games. Its all a question of what one loves most- family and friends, or the way the your mind feels when you play video games.

'Pilotwings' on SNES!

Be thankful it isn't Polybius.
