my 2 boxes in 2020 have been skunks, so there is a *slightly* higher chance of silver for you -- good luck.

Yea, they've been telling me my box will come one of these months. Its better waiting weeks since they're all skunks for me.

I've been doing just Ok recently, pulling one two or three 40% or maybe one 90% out of the boxes I get every week. I go get 2 boxes every Wed and other than last weeks skunk, I look at it like what ever I pull I'm ahead. It has been at least 3 months since my last real haul of 23 silver, 6 90% and 17 40% out of the 2 boxes. Don't forget, this is a hobby and is supposed to be fun!! Win or lose, I have fun with the hunt.

Are you saying that you only had 2 skunk boxes in 2019?

Of the 153 boxes of halves I examined in 2019, 101 were skunks. Every dime box was a skunk (The Mastermind recently posted about a 50+ dime box skunk streak!). That seems pretty comparable to what others are reporting. Some of us reported our results by piggy-backing posts in tommybuckets thread "2019 - a year for the record books".

Me too...especially when they just know I'm gonna give 'em a dump! One bank just started charging me some new fee. Now I gotta go find another dump bank.

Yes, there was almost something in every box. Including some icky foreign coins.

I have been getting fairly lucky on my weekly half box hunts in 2020. I had a 4 box Walker streak (3,1,1,1) , the box after had no walkers but coughed up 3 40%. So far opened 7 boxes: 6 Walkers, 1964, 5 40% and 4 Proofs.
