My home made 8" coil steady! (Final Made w/Pics!)

Here's my first try at making a "coil steady" for my Tiger Shark and Stingray II 8" coils. Kinda screwed up on the pivot bolt hole but will do better on the final version. This is a little harder than the one I made for my 10" EXcelerator coil on my Beach Hunter ID (Last Pic). On the 8" stock coil the "steady" has to have a cut out to fit the coil mounting lugs. Anyhow here's a couple of pics for those interested.

That's pretty cool, I went to a hardware store and bought a few new plastic bolt/butterfly screws and some o-rings for that typical problem. I can see though that your idea has some serious merit in solving it permanently. Good idea!

Tesoro "final steady" made! One on the left is first try and the second is the final. Right picture is "Final" shown mounted on 8" coil. Thanks
