Had a lot of fun the last two times out. Did a lot of digging and had a blast with friends. Here's the take from last Wed and yesterday. Each hunt was about 3.5 hours.

Pic #1 - The group shot of both days.
Pic #2 - The coins: 1941 Merc, No date seated Half Dime, JH&Co Scrip token, 1865 2 cent piece, 1919 Buffalo nickel, 5 Wheaties and a 1870 IH penny.
Pic #3 - The buttons: Various flat buttons, one iron back button and a couple other random ones.
Pic #4 - The relics: Buckles, Brass, Rivets, Knapsack hook, .54cal two ring Sharps, various lead, Singer MFG Co silver plate, .50 cal round @ 15", and a few other whatsits.

Hope everyone is finding lots of goodies. Happy Holidays and Happy Hunting!!!

-Nate

Interesting finds :icon_thumleft: Good luck!

Well done Nate! That is a good varity of relics and holds true to the spot, lots of history. Can not wait to hit it again. Nice to able to get out and do short hunts very close to home. It's a win-win :laughing7:

Thanks Wes! We'll get out there again soon. Glad you were able to make it!

Hey Wes. How about a pic of that piece of Spanish silver you found on top of the ground in the middle of a several 100 acre field. That still amazes me....... the proverbial needle in a haystack. Yall kicked my butt :BangHead:

Nice job bud! That token and 2Center will look good in your display box  :occasion14:

Awesome assortment. Really like the 2 cent.

Can I go Detecting with you?

Very Cool Dig's DD :icon_thumright:

Thanks all! Should be getting back out there soon. Hope to have more to show soon!

I read your description, and hope you realize you dug a piece of a CW era spur (bootstrap piece) in the last photo, top line, second from the right.

Great finds!

Thanks...I'm not good at ID'ing CW stuff, but I happened to have my buddy WES with me when I found it. He was able to give me the same description you did. Thanks BuckleElf. Happy Hunting!
