great veiw as me id never trade country life for any city

Having been born in south central Ky on the Tn border, I grew up in the country. I thought " there has to be more to life". I used this as my reasoning for joining the USAF after high school and literally saw the world. After the service, I settled in a major US city ( Oklahoma City ) and lived there for several years. I now live in this little northeastern Pennsylvania town. I can honestly say it has the best of both worlds. I am close to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, just hours away from NYC and Philly, but....from my window I often see bear, deer, turkey and numerous wildlife. I get my street plowed in the winter. Most of my neighbors are elderly and so are quiet, respectful and actually have something interesting to say! Many are just a generation away from having immigrated here and have a deep love and respect for our wonderful country.
