Wow, that's a beautiful area. You need to take in consideration that if you did not buy all that I can see in the pic, then you will be faced with what I'm facing...more homes. That would really mess up the beauty of God's Country.

It's beautiful. Are there any fish in the stream??

DM

Smallmouth bass and sun perch.

River Rat,

First, let me just say that I've always considered myself to be an environmentalist. That said, a friend of mine once told me that the difference between a developer and an environmentalist is that a developer wants to build a house in the woods, and an environmentalist already has a house in the woods! :)

Congratulations! What a lovely place to build a home. Remember to keep that camera handy there, I bet you get some great wildlife visiting!

Definitly keep the camera handy or several of them, just beautiful!!

the fact that you've even heard of the mother earth news, is a plus in my book.
You're going to have a beautiful backyard.

Let's hope their's no Goldencheek woblars or black-cap verios or any other endangered (PEST),I mean critter out there or no house will ever be built on that pice of land.

1960texan, what a beautibul view. A great area to explore and view the wildlife. I've heard that the Texas Hill Country
is a very scenic area. Someday, I hope to see it myself. Congrats on being able to own and live there.

Thanks for sharing
