My New Backyard

Just got word from our realtor that our offer on a piece of property in the Texas Hill Country has been accepted! It will be a year or two before we build, but eventually this will be the view from the back porch.

Wow, that's a beautiful area. You need to take in consideration that if you did not buy all that I can see in the pic, then you will be faced with what I'm facing...more homes. That would really mess up the beauty of God's Country.

First, let me just say that I've always considered myself to be an environmentalist. That said, a friend of mine once told me that the difference between a developer and an environmentalist is that a developer wants to build a house in the woods, and an environmentalist already has a house in the woods!

is a very scenic area. Someday, I hope to see it myself. Congrats on being able to own and live there.
