My new Excal set up by Beach-Hunter

I was having some trouble with my old Excal set up and haven't gone out detecting in a while because of the cold weather, so this weekend was a good time to make some adjustments to my Excal before the next hunt.
My friend George, Beach-Hunter made me this new set up. It is light weight, well balanced and very comfortable to swing. I'm really happy with it. I could have gone with a few different ways of setting it up, but for me personally, this one seemed to feel the best. Everything is the way it should be. What a big difference.
I'm looking forward to trying it out next week. Sorry for the lousy cell phone pictures. Thank you Beach-Hunter!

Straight shaft's

Glad you like it!! If you ever buy another Dual Field that shaft will work great with that too! The Anodized Aluminum is great!! easy to care for will not turn your skin black!! won't peel,chip or rust!!.....I hopefully can sell the few extra shaft
's I got built now. Can't wait till we get out next week for the big negatives!! You need your first gold for 2013!! I'm sure you'll get it!!
