I got the boat for 475.00 , then I got the motor 500.00
Both on craigslist . I would have liked to have found a shortshaft , but the longshaft was too good a deal , so I raised the transom 5 inches with angle aluminum and plywood scraps I found in the shed .
I bought the ARMY decal on Ebay , I got the headlight for 2 dollars at a garage sale .
It's 14 and a half feet long , my GPS clocks it at 28.2 MPH with a slight chop . It's my clam digging boat , and yes ....we go on recreational fishing picnics too
