Really? Didn't the 49er's of that era get hevily fined heavily, one numerous occasions, and lose several draft picks for circumventing the league salary cap? Did DeBartolo get suspended from the league Are the Jets currently under investigation for tampering? Arent the Falcon's under investigation for artificial crowd noise? Did the Broncos give illegal compensation to players? Saints - bountygate? Steelers of the 70's who were some of the biggest steroid abusers ever?

They were penalized in spygate, so yes they broke the rules. As far as deflategate, from all yhe latest reports it appears the Pats will be exonerated meaning this was a bunch of media inspired "hot air."

I did not intend to take anything away from you savoring the win of your team. I am a lifelong Niner fan and it sounds like you are a lifelong Pats fan. Hope you enjoy the victory. And the parade when they have it.
One thing I did enjoy was watching Butler make a play of a lifetime. By the way i'm NOT a Seahawks fan either.
