Got the silver from one community sale and a few little extra items the one I'm having problems with is the bronze plate engraving can anybody recognize the scene The large sterling cup is K. Anderson dated 1902 thanks for looking
I see the painting that you are referring to that this was taken off of but I can't seem to find another one like this do you have any references of one or links to one that is like it be greatly appreciated thank you
I like that bronze plaque. You can't find any initials or anything on it anywhere? You've checked it with a loupe? I searched the other night for a similar and couldn't find one.
Artist was Étienne-Victor Exbrayat (1879-1914), a French sculptor. The medal is entitled Medicina and depicts a nursemaid with a dying man on the obverse and the sun rising behind a fountain with the snake of Asclepius on the reverse.

OH WOW! I had to moan and laugh out loud. Great finds! I can't help but like your photography and lighting. The pieces look as though it's a scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark"!!!
Those kinds of finds get you up early on the weekends!
