My road trip today

After reading the forums for many weeks, and in conjunction with the New Year, I decided it was high time that I make a road trip.

I was in the big city today on business, and made a point of stopping in every bank that I passed. I did detour some in order to hit a few more banks, but only because there were no banks on the street I was on.

FWIW, I focused on stopping at banks in a less than stellar side of town, in hopes that large caches of solid silver had been recently brought to the banks in CWR's.

I hit seven banks, here are my complete totals for the day:

One clad Ike, 1973
Two clad JFK, both 1974 (at the last bank for the day)

Anyone else have super disappointing days like this

I get to hunt usually 1 day a week my last 3 have been like that. But a month + 1/2 ago I got 3 rolls one was solid 40%.

I got a bit excited when I read your post, and then double checked the date....it is a 1971.

aww darn...i was excited 4 u, cuz its a really hard date to get, and i was fortunate to get one a while back, so i was thinking we could see who would finish our ike books first kinda like a contest.......
