My shirt I did for Memorial Day

Something very special in my heart, I lost many buddies in Viet Nam in 1967. Thanks to another member on another forum I made this shirt and will wear it Monday.

Being shot through the chest and having the bullet come out my back in Vietnam while point man with a AK47 it is nothing short of a miracle I am here. After spending 18 months in a hospital recovering I wear this shirt very proudly,

im too young to say that I have lost friends in Vietnam War. how ever I do know people that were there. I have lost some dear friends of mine and even typing it makes me cry. He was on his 3rd tour in Iraq. He told me that he did not want to go back (bad felling) he told me but he was going because it what he wanted to do He left leaving behind 2 sons and his wife as well as all his friends and family. He served Proud with his head up high. he is missed but will never be forgotten


he sons are now my sons I do anything in my powers to make those kids smile.
