My small Relic Keepers Collection..

well thought i should post this under this forum due to the content,found all these here in upstate NY at various celler holes,the batwing buckle dates back to 1777 and then theres afew other neat things like a piece of "trade lead",large cent and rings...

heres some more finds,my earlyist spoon is dated 1824,theres some other odds and ends aswell as a skeleton of what looks to be a old gun?

of course it wouldnt be complete without the shotgunshells.....found some rare ones like "robin hood" and more...

its a bad pic but here is a shot of a few coppers i dug in cobelskill NY,Minus the 1720 Spanish Copper- that was bought....

THX,it took awhile for me to try to restore afew buckles so they would not turn to a rust pile....

afew cellers,and a 2 farms is what im hunting now more or less the farm houses since they have been spittin out some good stuff...

forgot to post this pic...i found it while hunting on what was the remains of a Indian Longhouse,it looks to be hand made and would attach to a tree limb so maybe some sort of primitive axe?...

i havent even posted the nail collection yet.....lol...but i think ill leave out a pic of the nails for now..

Wow, nice collection! I never thought about keeping those pesky shotgun shells. We find them all the time in the lakes we detect. Some of them are live rounds. Thanks again for those fine pictures of your relics.

Looks like you have some great spots to hunt.

Very nice relics. I LOVE RELICS of all types and of all decades. You've got some very interesting pieces of history.

I'd say that the thing found at the longhouse looks more like a primitive saw. It appears to have some crude teeth cut into it. Just a guess.

Keep them photos coming. Would very much like to see the nail collection. Keep up the great work!
