My strait shaft conversion for vanquish

i used a long 3/4” emt connector that worked out well after I squared it up as best I could with a vise and some large visegrips. Had to take my time and used a rubber hammer to coax the shafts into the connector. It is a very tight fit but I also used a couple of self tapping screws in the holes where the original set screw were. I took the part of the shaft with armrest on it with me to menards to pick out the connector. It is solid with no wiggle at all.

Got out and hunted for a couple of hours today. I found it much more comfortable than the old shaft.
