Went to a park before work to check the playground for jewelry since I only had 20mins free. Found some clad and a hot wheels, usual finds.
But I kept swinging crossing to the grass heading to my truck and I get a wierd tone between a pull tabs and a penny on my Ace 350. Dig down a few inches and see a gold coin. Heart skipped a beat and then I realize it's a 10 cent euro haha
Oh well, I keep heading back to my truck and get a good tone, this ones deeper, hopefully silver. Nope 1970 50 centavos! Crazy 2 foreign coins back to back. Must be a California thing haha. A little more fun than finding clad though. 20181103_084607.webp20181103_090254.webp20181103_154519.webp

I live on the westside of Fresno county, mostly migrants out here and I have a little wooden treasure chest full of all the foreign coins I have found.Mostly south of the border.Even gave away a handful and still have tons.

I hear ya Ive found gold colored coins and tokens. I think that brief split second feeling is as close as Ill ever get to the feeling of finding a gold coin
