This year I actually went through less coins than in 2013, but I found more silver. I found 873 40%ers, 162 90%ers, 784 silver dimes, and 30 silver nickles. That is about 245 oz. of silver. I go through $4000-$4500 of halves per week, and about $1000-$2000 in dimes. I also get nickle and dime bags off of coins machines that certain banks sell me. I hope all the rest of you out there had a good year too.

:coffee2: Not only are those nice numbers but the icing on the cake for you is that banks will at least sell you nickel & dime bags off the machine. I'm unable to get them around here. Did you ask those banks if they would sell you the quarter & half dollar bags also? It might worth a shot to see what they say & what you might be able to get from them.

I don't get quarter bags because there is so little silver in them that they are not worth the time. Only one of my banks has a half-dollar bag, and they do sell it to me when it fills up. The problem is that it is a small bank, and it takes about a year for it to fill up.

WOW. That's all i can say for those numbers, 275 oz. of silver in one year?!?!

Great numbers! Slow and steady wins the race. Congrats

As a matter of fact, my ounces for 2014 were lower than 2013, by about 10-ozs. I had planned for 50% more, but that never happened.
