I found this half in one of my dresser drawers the other day and it brought back some childhood memories.

When I was 13, I was shooting my Daisy BB at plastic soldiers in our front yard. My father just had just gotten home from work and saw me shooting and said, "If you're such a good shot, hit this half-dollar from 25 paces and it's yours". . . I had just recently started collecting coins and didn't know that it was a 1918-S Walker :'(.

Don't think I want you shooting at me..Always nice to think back on those "old" days.

anyone ever claim birds with thier red riders??? i didnt till this year, dunno why, kinda wierd.

As a dumb kid I killed a little finch, shot at it three times till I hit it, then felt so bad for killing it. I don't mind harvesting game but that was just killing because I could.Never forgot that lesson and still only use a 410 on dove or anything smaller then duck.I figure it gives em some odds not much but some.I think it makes me take less "maybe" shots and therefore less wounded birds to search fore. In the long run I get my bag faster cuz I ain't in beating the bush.A lot less pellets to spit out too. ;D

I found this 1944 Walking Liberty Half Dollar about two weeks ago. Did you shoot this one as well? :)
