40 degree F field walk. My usual: a lot of flint flakes. One piece of unglazed pottery. I doubt it is anything old. I’m on a roll of finding: “just rocks” and modern pottery shards. 😆
It’s a good thing that I enjoy the experience of searching, ‘cause the finding leaves a lot to be desired.
Oh well, It could be way worse.

Definitely could be way worse. Some of those flakes look promising. I'd have picked up some of them too.

As you get more comfortable with identifying tools especially the subtle ones like flake knives, you’ll have to go back through your flakes. I’ve done it a few times and it’s funny how much I didn’t know definitely missed some artifacts the first time around that seem obvious now

Keep searching. There’s a real nice arrowhead out there somewhere with your name on it. You will surely find a random drop eventually. You’re in the zone!
