Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I researched a place to detect today, and found a sign that read positively no metal detectors. This is a summer swimming hole that is drained before winter. So what could be better then a empty swimming hole to detect. This place had lots of sand and was fairly large. just perfect, but it was a no go.

Darn it JT_hunter!

Nice place and great pictures.

If you are really bored you could stake the place out for a couple of days after it's drained, better yet a discreet " game camera", and catch some of the local management detecting after hours, bring that up to their superiors and scream " descrimination"

Yeah I figured it was the owners son or something put that sign up

Is the place privately owned or state or local govt?

Just go at night. These signs are so damn hard to read when its dark. ;)

If its public and they're hunting it and prohibiting other they should be brought up on charges
