Myrtle Beach--can you Metal detect there

Heading there for spring break. Anyone been and detected. Any issues. I have been lots of time but cannot remember seeing folks there swinging detectors.

I was there a couple years ago (not to detect), and some detectorist found a zincoln, and just left it there on the beach. Wasn't too impressed.

Up towards north myrtle they sand sweep the beach in the evening. But south down towards Surfside and Garden City, it's not swept

Day 1 findings..not going to retire. But the detector works great. Did find 1967 quarter and 2 1964 pennies.
