Back at my old spot today searching this hill is killer on the feet it is very steep, but can be rewarding what I thought was a nickel turned out to be a solid gold pin I have know idea what kind of pin or what the symbol means it also has writing on the back if anyone knows please shine in also got two V nickels 1905 1896.... Those V nickels are in really nice shape actually , normally we don't see them looking that clean .

( That hill would be my go to spot for a good while !)
 

It def is a odd fellows pin...I am a vice grand in a odd fellow lodge! Seriously Don got the FLT! Not only that but there is three links of chain on an angle the three links standing for FLT ! Great finds especially the odd fellow pin!

I have been searching that hill for years, many times thay don't mow it so it's hard to search, I have gotten many barber dimes, early IH'S on that hill ...
 

Maybe you could bring a weed whacker up there , clear some areas yourself - I don't imagine there would be any ordinances against that .

If it is solid gold I'd say banner! Very nice to look at and the old style engraving on the back gives it so much more personality!

It says the lodge No. 32 when I first found it I thought it was a date to, this person must have been a high ranking within the lodge in order to be given gold...
