Relic Hunting
Does anyone know what this is I found it while arrowhead hunting. There is evidence of stone being worked on all curved edges and the flat edge on the end appears to show wear. 1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - I moved this thread from Today's Finds! over to Forum: What Is It? for more exposure.

Natural I think.

Natural in my opinion. I see no sign of it being worked or altered by man.

the tree is interesting, I read somewhere that native Americans would shape trees in such a way to serve as a marker. maybe you are on to something if you are finding strange rocks as well

Those are all just natural rocks too. have you ever actually seen and handled shaped blades and drilled holes? They aren't random shapes. Just because something has some breaks on an edge doesn't make it man-made. Lots of rocks have natural holes from gas pockets during formation.

the rocks i would have picked up and examined they are different, but those trees there has to be a story about them

All natural rocks, not artifacts. They are not effigies, it is imagination that is making it look like a wildlife animal.

All Naturale! To include the tree, probably damage and then the tree readapted and grew out. It's two young of a tree to have any prehistoric significance.
