What is the size of this object? It does have some bone-like characteristics. With the "wings", it looks like it could be part of a spinal column. Looks a bit like an Axis (C1) or Atlas (C2) bone ... especially the Atlas. That is the second bone in the neck just below the head at which the spinal cord inserts into the brain.

size is 2'' 1/4 X 2'' 1/4. yea I alway's thought vertabae also.
