Found today in Central Florida----holed coin? in nice brass with most detail long worn but still showing small man on the left. Thin unlike Liberty large cents.

Reverse no help/was there a date somewhere? If a sports medallion why so worn??

Measures an inch and an one eight across. AMERICAN/BRITISH/?

Any ideas-thanks.
