Would appreciate some help identifying this old piece of iron. Found it many years ago near an old homestead and farmland.

It looks like a cooking spatula lol. I'm assuming its of an old tractor. My dad though it might be the step to help get up on something like a wagon maybe.

The skinny end looks like it was longer or attached to something and had broke.

I cant tell a lot by Loking at it but i had the same thought as your dad. See what you can find for horse drawn wagon steps.

brewern...it might the attaching end of a farm implement....I posted a picture of the farm relics I found. It looks very similar to part of the curved item in the picture I posted today.

Thanks mapper! That does look very similar.

Looks like those three holes were attachment points to hold it fast (nails?). There must have been some torque on that part. Old tine from an early farm implement? Nice hand wrought iron find... this one looks pretty old.

Lot of interesting guesses... Here's another one it reminds me of a paddle for mixing or stirring something.
