mystery metal object

I feel like a broken record but info is important for id, 1820 campsite no modern trash lots of gun parts and camp related items and flat buttons, so this looks oddly familiar but I really don't know what it was, my mind keeps going to part of a razor or something related to clothing
anybody recognize it?

Looks like potmetal, if it was iron it would be much more rusted and deteriorated. Have no idea but agree it sure looks familiar like a small drawer pull or lift handle.

I think it's too small to be a drawer pull.


Maybe part of the handle of a sad iron? Part of a fender trivet stand? part of a cooking utensil?

well worth a shot, it just seems familiar I don't know why, and odd with the lack of rust compared to other things makes me think it wasn't just junk
