✅ SOLVED Mystery object found in park

I found this metallic object in a local park. The park was created in 2000, but decades earlier there was a farm there. It is 2.5 inches long, hollow, cylindrical with a slanted opening on top and a small off center hole at the bottom. I recently saw a video with someone digging up the exact same thing so it made me more curious.

That is a worn out pole tip off of a buggy.

looks to be a device that slips over the toe then you spray paint the nails, however I am not certain

Mud Hut, thank you so much. That certainly looks like what it is. Jeff Gordon, I like your post. It first reminded me of a metallic thumb from some suit of armor, but I like your idea better.
