Not a personal find, but this coin was found in an area that dates from the mid 1600's in western Massachusetts. It looks like billon, but I'm not sure. The other side is worn smooth with no visible detail. Anyone have any idea what this is?

I Believe this will help, could you rotate it to the left so that the circle is possibly upright? Seems to be a cross or double cross at the top, not sure but could be.....Joe McDonough

I think it may be from the circa early 1800s - arms of Poland.

great ID. man, I looked for about an hour and never could come up with anything other than I was certain it was European
