Found this old sterling pin and it appears to be from around the 1920's. Any idea as to the symbol on it?

i found reference to IC as being abbreviation for JESUS. old orthodox useage

then XC as abbreviation for Christos

found views of old icon of Jesus -- many have IC to left of Jesus head and XC to right


i am reading bunch of sites trying to find the best to post for reference
