6 by 2 1/2 Spade or flaked Celt. One of my few creek finds in N. Alabama when I was 12 years old. I cleaned it way back when but still left some of the creek stain on it. This is one of my favorites because of the evident use wear. The material is more mid shade tan chert than what the pictures are showing and the creek stain is more evident in person.

Nice Woodland Hoe. They preferred oval styling. Mississippian period made the best from what I’ve seen.
