Hi All,
I had just a little more then hour to hunt after work tonight. So I went to my parents house that was built in the 1860?s . I dug bunch a slaw and a few Lincoln?s pennies, but nothing to great until the end. From about 8 inches down out pops the railroad baggage tag. I was able to tell it was from the Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad company.
It makes some sense since my parents house back in the day was a boarding house do to the railroad real close to the home.
The really cool thing was over 20 years ago I found an N.D. & C button in there yard. So I took a few pictures of the two of them together. Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all of you !!
