I dug this this morning along with a 1925 Mercury and 10 wheats from teens to thirties, oldest 1910.This particular coin is the same diameter as a nickel, copper(?),and slightly thinner,1902 date.Anyone?

That was my first thought.I've found a few V's but just couldn't see it.Maybe it's just that worn!
