Re: Nana's 2006 TNet Hunt Adventures!
Absolutely beautiful day!!! I don't think anything could have been more perfect! Everyone had such a fantastic time and I know that I did not want the day to end.
Started off at 8 am at the American Legion, Otterville, and everything was very tasty! Left there and headed for the hunt. People were streaming in all rested and ready to go. It was so neat meeting everyone....kinda like having a family reunion.....with benefits!

(great door prizes!) And remember Roger took my shovel last night.

Anyhow....lots and lots of goodies where found today, including horseshoes and bullets!

Of course you already know the half dimes and eagle cent was found, along with eagle buttons, a ring and many other things that I am sure will be posted on here soon! I don't want to take away anyones thunder, so I will let the others post what they found today.

I do have permission from Lucky to announce that he had one whale of a day! He lived up to his name! Buttons and coins and rings for Lucky!!
Evy just happened to outhunt Stoney today!

She ended up with one infantry bullet, five musket balls and then she won another detector at the end-of-the-day give away! River had all the luck today too....not only did she find one of the finest horseshoes she also won in the raffle a bunch of big ole bullets!

Then Ros found her first horseshoe and of course her famous nails and a handle of an old cook pot and won a years supply of treasure hunting magazines and headphones and other good stuff.... I naturally came out with a pocket full of lead!
Having a great time and don't want it to end! Here's some pics of the days events and I hope that after the others get home they will put up some stories and pics of their hunt.
