Nanny cam/ Baby Cam Warning

Watching News right now a Story
come on.

A Fireman in Cumberland County
put a Cam on the Back of his Truck
so he could watch when he Backs up
by looking at the Screen.

He was Driving down the road & The picture started
changing to Peoples rooms showing
Children Playing Etc.

He immediately Reported this to the News Channel
to warn everyone.

Only thing you can do is Change Channels Often
but still Very Unsettling.

yeah..

i just saw that it was a 'home brewed" design made from a monitor itself, so I get it now.
yeah, there are only a finite number of frequencies available.
People don't realize how much they "put out there" A few years ago, when cell phones and baby monitors were in the VHF low range, I would accidentally pick up a LOT of stuff from them.
You would be surprised how much a baby monitor can hear, pretty much the WHOLE house.

And wireless routers are another. Just for example, for kicks I just checked the "wireless frequencies in range" thing on my laptop.
No less than FIVE unsecured routers in range, and I could log on to ANY of them...
COME ON, PEOPLE.....

Yes I Have a Police / Fire / Emergency scanner
Many times I Ride down streets I Pick up
people on the old Wireless Phones,
monotors, & Maybe even a Bug or 2; Don't know.
Sometmes I Hear TV Shows or Music
from peoples homes. People Ordering
at the drive up at Kentucky Fried,
A doctor being paged in the Hospital, Etc.
