Very cool!

Wow! That must have blown your ears out when you swung the coil over it.

Very nice !

That old wheel would make a great display in your front yard. Old RR grades are excellent places to find old logging tools and RR items as the tools would be placed a few feet from the RR bed, ready to be used when needed.

I don't envy you having to lug that thing out! 😬

I see you found a frog. I was telling my grandson he jumped right over a frog as he was jumping on the rail ties when we stopped by to check out the old roundhouse in Como, Colorado. He was like where's a frog.

Nice find. It is times like those you hope someone else CARRIES your finds out

Very cool find I would love to have it on display in my flower garden near the house But I foresee two MAYBE 3 problems with that idea Shipping would be prohibitive AND # 2 & 3 iAM BOTH OLD AND WEAK those2would stop me in my tracks GET THE COMPARSION A R/R WHEEL AND TRACKS WOUD BE GREAT CENTER PIECE FOR A FLOWERBED a plastic medical design of a spine to illustrate the result of moving that wheel to where it would make a nice display bedded next to each other IF you manage to get them where you want them Send a picture of the wheel and flowers and of your back hunched over and trying to standup FYI This is not intended to be an insult to anyone just a glimpse of what would be the end result of my attempt at using the wheel as part of a display Any way nice item i to find
