Found these today along side alot of flint and apparent tools. Near Mississippi river in Iowa.

The North blades I've seen are usually much larger, but I guess it could be. The North is the preform for Hopewell Snyders points. The point is interesting. I can't decide whether it's a Table Rock or an unusual Snyders. Is the base heavily ground? You're in the right location for Hopewell finds. Gary
 

Those are a couple of real nice looking artifacts.
 

Great to hear, thanks. I am a novice and use just a garret ace 350 mostly, these times I was just looking for artifacts and this was my first point, I was having a hard time with ID, yes the base of the stem is worked to a sharp edge also. The preform is my wife's first aswell and we found in a 2 day and probably 50 ft apart.
