Native American Artifact. Carved Granite eagle eating serpent

Please help identify this large Granite carving . Found in a garden at home in Utah we purchased

As shown in the drawing below, the official Coat-Of-Arms of the Republic Of Mexico (United Mexican States) shows an eagle eating a serpent. I suspect that has a lot to do with the carved stone you found at a home in Utah.
