I’ve been without my pinpointer (off to Garrett for free warranty repair) for over a week. It’s been seriously slowing down my digging as many signals are mixed in roots in the woods... but must keep digging...
Here’s the handful from last week.

Been about a month since my last silver, so when a 1960 Rosie popped at a 1870 cellar, I was surprised, but still pleased.
Today’s lunch hunt at a site in the woods of an old crossroads store/home lead to an unusual spill.

Best I could do in the woods was read the number 1, thought play coin, then 4 more small ones and one big one popped from same 2’x2’ spot.

German ReichsPfennig from 1942

50 German ReichsPfennig

Most likely brought home by a US soldier after WW2 and their kids lost them in the yard.

Update 7/16. Another lunch hour, expanded the area to a 10’x10’ patch and 9 more Nazi Pennies popped. Weird...
