NC Chauffeur License & Catholic Goodies

I’ve not posted much lately, not been getting to hunt as much as years past. I hope 2021 works out better for all of us.

I got to hunt this half acre lot, where a house from the 1940s was removed. It didn’t look very good, so apparently no one bothered to give it a try.



I found over 25 wheaties, 2 buffalo nickels and 2 silver dimes. The place was loaded with coins.

I had no idea what this monogrammed disc thing was.



Turns out to a cigar knife fob. Non-dug example from the internet.



I found a Sunday school pin from Charlotte’s oldest Catholic Church, St. Peters. AND a cross with “Roma Terra Del Catacombe” on it. It has dirt from the catacombs of Rome encased in it. That’s official graveyard dirt.



Lastly, the best of the day, a 1937 NC chauffeur license. First one I’ve found.

I went back for one more hunt, just to see if I missed anything, as usual, I missed A LOT... 15 more wheaties, buffalo, war nickel, Great Seal button, transit token and junk heart charm.

very typical of the finds here where I live as stuff isn't generally much older that. To me, that lot would have been an awesome hunt. You made a good haul
