I tried to draw it in Paint program.

It shows a Trail with small "X", "5" and "L" shaped line

"X" =10 times "5" ,
The "L" as written looks more like a survey mark than anything else.

"L" =90 degrees

Try 50 measures at a 90 degree angle from the spot in the trail.
Just to keep it simple. LOL
