How's that Talon? It's a pretty neat little tooth, It would be nice to know what it's from.

Its is a tooth pad of a stingray of some kind.

Humm, I gess the cutting edge attached to all puffers plates must have broken off. These look like the hundreds of Ray plates I have seen on beaches in Florida around St Pete. Rays have no attached cutting edge plates attached like puffers do. But I could be mistaken I made a mistake back in 1976 and ended up married. LOL

We sure do find lots of stingray dental plates here in Florida.. But they look like this.

Most of the puffer fish mouth plates I find don't have the beak like section attached.
