Had some free time and that means metal detecting ! Found an old home site stretch in a vacant field...and went to it. Miniature steel hammer and buckle, old Bayer aspirin cap were real unexpected finds. Dug a 1959 silver dime and a couple of Wheaties. If anyone knows what that screw rig is ...please comment ! More stuff is in there I just know it. Thanks for looking !

Can't help you on the identification, but it's a nice set of finds - congrats! :occasion14:

Good analysis, looks like one. Thanks !

Nice finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice hunt when you find stuff like that its always good cause there was lots of activity keep rippin into that site

Some Marx, Wyandotte, and Ideal toy trucks used to have mini tool boxes on them in the 1950's-60's. Small metal tools such as your hammer were inside for kids to play with. Cheers, Sub 8-)

thanks for the info Subterranean...makes sense. Will check it out later tonight online !

Nice little hunt capped off with a nice silver Roosevelt dime!
