Need a button expert

A friend found this button near Lexington SC. We've also found a fancy script I button and a sword pommel at this site. The back appears to be iron and is gone. Any help would be appreciated.

The iron back, lack of detail, and right facing Eagle scream fashion blazer button to me. That being said, I can find no matches, and there are a lot of folks on here more knowledgeable than I.

 

[CRUSADER]

Although most iron/tin backs scream blazer button, I think this ones shouting something different. To me it looks to be a late 19th C US Patriotic/Diplomatic Button.
