Need help downsizing videos

I'm not sure how to downsize my video for youtube. My guess is that since it is taking waaaaay to long to load is because it needs to be downsized before submitting to youtube. The video is only 2-4min. long. Any help would be appreciated!!! 8) 8)

Most video editing programs will let you save it in compressed format.
If nothing else, Microsoft has a FREE program in XP called Windows
Movie Maker. It's free, easy to learn, and it will let you cut out parts of
the video to make it smaller.

I use Cyberlink's "Power Director" to edit movies. It is about $90 to buy,
and lets you save in different formats so you can pretty much pick the
quality that will let it fit on YouTube, and also lets you cut out unnecessary
portions.
